N-FiNet Computing options include both dedicated computing and virtual computing offerings thereby empowering clients to build the optimum cloud for their applications.

N-FiNet Storage

N-FiNet Storage is a hosted storage offering designed to provide additional drive image options to N-FiNet Dedicated or Cloud server subscribers. It can be customized to accommodate any application based on the space, redundancy, performance, and archival requirements of a particular application. Alternatively, it can also be employed for off site backup of a client’s datacenter.

N-FiNet Connectivity

To make certain that your N-FiNet Computing resources are always available, GDS offers a broad range of both private and public network connectivity solutions including MPLS, Metro Ethernet, and even VSAT failover via our Satellite teleport. High availability options include BGP failover and redirection based on client defined policies.

N-FiNet Advanced Services

GDS N-FiNet Advanced Services is a grouping of products designed to augment a hosted server environment. This includes advanced security components, traffic capture capabilities, and application enhancements to offer clients what they would likely implement in their own datacenter.

Lafayette, LA – Global Data Systems, Inc. becomes Cisco Managed Services Channel Partner Certified.

Global Data Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that we have achieved official Cisco MSCP Certification.

GDS has launched the next generation of its Managed Services Channel Program (MSCP) which acknowledges that the managed service provider has invested in industry-leading Cisco solution, and also entitles the solutions provider to take advantage of Cisco resources to envision, build, market and sell its managed services, contributing to market acceptance and adoption.

Industry analysts are predicting that the current macro-economic environment is creating the perfect opportunity for managed services, as customers actively look to shift spending from capital expenditures to operational expenses. According to Ovum Research, Managed Services is a $42 billion worldwide market opportunity and is growing 19 percent annually. In the recent annual survey of businesses by Nemertes Research, 63 percent of businesses expect to adopt some level of managed services in 2009.
